Dermia Skincare is a family business based near Falkirk; I have previously attended Stirling University and worked in Stirling.
We have previously attended Farmers Markets like Glasgow Queens Park, Kilsyth, Kirkintilloch; craft shows and agricultural shows.
Products
We make everything by hand, from scratch, only using natural ingredients which are plant extracts or infusions.
e.g. lipbalms, handcreams, moisturisers, body butters, health creams, exfoliators, toners.
NO: artificial colors, fragrance, chemicals, SLS, steroids, lanolin, mineral oil, borax, formaldehyde, etc.
Ingredients
E.g.: thistle, almond, olive, soya, calendula, avocado, sunflower, etc. vegetable oils; these are cold pressed, unrefined pure plant oils.
Essential oils: Lots, e.g. English Lavender, Rose, Tea Tree, Geranium, Bergamot, Chamomile, lime, lemon, orange, mandarin, cinnamon, etc.
Origin
Beeswax from Perthshire, English Lavender and chamomiles, Scottish Bog Myrtle oil and Sea Buckthorn oil; organic nettle herbs, thistle oil.
Note: many ingredients we have to use cannot be grown locally, as most come from hot countries like Africa.
We use Scottish/UK ingredients wherever possible.
Environmental policy:
We use recycled materials and paper wherever possible, we reuse and recycle wherever possible, such as reusing any boxes and bubble wrap that is sent to us.
Our packaging is minimal, reusable and recyclable.
No animal testing or cruelty.
